Sui Sonic Deep (with Sound Bath)
see all reviewsThis yoga class was a true experience. From the decor, the cafe upstairs, and amenities prior to even entering the class. The way the sound bath is integrated in to the flow and the very insightful verbal guidance made this class a breeze to just jump into for an hour away from busy life. Connecting with our breath and body in such a deep way, with so many other souls who came to do the same. The instructor is fantastic. I could go on but overall, I highly recommend this class.

see all reviewsReally nice flow - especially loved the dynamic bits (lizard into goddess squat!! My hips are so happy). Nice mix of energizing flow but slow enough to get my form right and build strength. Music was a good mix of chill r&b and mellow hip hop in the more active parts of the class - only ask would be turn it up a bit next time ;)

see all reviewsJosh is an anatomy nerd in the best way possible. I am new to Astoria and run my own yoga collective. I teach yoga 7 days a week, as well as take classes at least 3 days a week to support my own personal practice. I can’t tell you the last time a yoga class kicked my ass (in the best way possible) & in a way that was guided to get my body into poses in a healthy, non straining way. I was able to surprise myself, break a sweat and have the most delicious shavasana I’ve had in a while. Good job! I will say this class would have been quite a doozy and potentially overwhelming for anyone who does not already have a very very strong personal practice, but I loved it.

see all reviewsThere’s a reason this place has such great reviews. Good vibes has exactly that atmosphere-wise. Can tell lots of thought was put into the space, which also says something about the instructor/owner Michael, who taught an all around great practice, from music (including a harmonium!) to instruction through poses, to the eucalyptus towels at the end. I have been to MANY different studios and classes and as an intermediate student I was impressed. Looking forward to returning

see all reviewsOne of my favorite yoga instructors ever, and an awesome class — I wouldn’t necessarily call it challenging, but I’ve found plenty of non-challenging yoga classes are just 5 minute pigeons — sometimes I’m in the mood for that, but I loved loved loved how this class prioritized restfulness without sacrificing movement and flow. Other things I loved: - free mat rentals; the GORGEOUS atrium; good music; the choices for hands on instruction and for end of class oils; and maybe I was just fortuitous but the instructor was talking about self affirmation in a way that really stuck with me. All so wonderful, big fan, feel stretched and strengthened! Thanks!

see all reviewsThis was such a restorative experience! Ashley was such a wonderful facilitator and took the time to make sure that everyone felt welcomed; she introduced herself to everyone personally before the start of the session. The staff at the studio were very kind, and the studio itself was gorgeous. There is only one single user bathroom, so you may want to keep that in mind if you are looking to use the bathroom to freshen up or change. One small negative is that the street outside the studio became very loud later on during the evening, but that was not the studio’s fault at all and Ashley did all she could to address that.

The class started with a gentle warm-up, which was perfect for someone like me who is not very flexible. Sara Ma guided us through each pose, providing clear instructions and offering modifications for those who needed them. She also emphasized the importance of proper breathing and mindfulness throughout the practice.
