Awesome class! Loved the instructor, music, pacing, and the mile challenge was a fun bonus. Also, the front desk staff was the nicest I’ve encountered so far at this studio (previously, they’ve been pretty short and not super friendly). Thanks for a great experience!

Try it!!!! Great facilities (with complementary towels/showers/etc) and Amber was a great coach. The workout itself was hard as expected but very scalable. I would say it’s best to have a bit of experience with strength training as they don’t really go into detail on all the form cues, but overall I really enjoyed the class. I also lost something in the studio, but the front desk was super proactive and contacted me when they found it. Highly recommend!

Dale is amazing! Not every instructor remembers names or actively corrects form throughout the whole class. Loved the instructor and the class, but it was a lot hotter than I expected (think Bikram level, far hotter than Y7). The spots by the window had a tiny breeze that saved me, plus the studio space is so gorgeous I would gladly endure the heat to do yoga there. Honestly this is my favorite class at Bodyrok! It’s the only megaformer class I can find in NYC to incorporate the jump board, which I really takes the workout up a notch. Expect an intense and borderline soul sucking strength training class with plenty of timed lifting intervals used for a variety of lower and upper body moves such as racked squats, lunges, deadlifts, swings, sumos, gorilla rows, push presses, renegade rows, high pulls & plank work. He also tends to toss in a conditioning section with plyometric work, plus an AMRAP, then finishing with core. Please have both lifting and KB knowledge before coming because this is absolutely not a beginner class. I thought I was in shape until this class. I usually work out 3 days a week doing HIIT classes, but this one kicked by butt. Super fast paced class with no breaks.! Expect to do high reps counts of exercises like lunges, squats, deadlifts, rows, tricep extensions etc with weights in hand and cardio bursts of jumping jacks, high knees, burpees, skiers and squat jumps. FYI, no locks for lockers so you have to bring your own or find a place to stash it in the workout studio room. Class size tonight was around 25 people.

    The Squash Class - Beginner

Not intimidating at all, as a first timer! The coach/owner and staff were all so welcoming. Thank god I only learned later the instructor —Nichol himself, was ranked one of the top players in the world in his career — but you’d never know by how beginner-friendly he is in his teaching!

This was a great class. Its perfect to take if youre looking for a really deep stretch. The instructor was really nice, demonstrated the stretches well, came around to help everyone, and was extremely knowledgeable.

Loved this class! I had never done anything aerial before, but everyone was so welcoming and encouraging. Even though it was my first class, I still got to do several cool moves. And I suspect my arms will be just the right amount of sore tomorrow.

Lovely class! Great space, kind, friendly instructor. Will return! Modifications were offered but could have been explained a bit more with respect to what muscles should be engaged with each long pose hold.
