Perfect cues and pace (not too fast), really cares about our form, gets our stretch in as well as a good flow; and music isn’t too loud, just the right volume. This time around while I did have to take breaks I felt like I kept up a little better than the first time. Which makes me feel like I’ve been getting stronger. I did like that we were told it’s okay not to get it right, keep up and to take breaks as needed so overall I felt comfortable in this class and will probably return again at some point to see if I can make even more progress.

    It was my first barre class ever, and I felt amazing—burning, shaking, and sweating as every muscle got worked. The short sets made the burn manageable, and the instructor was super inviting, breaking everything down and walking around to show different angles of each exercise. She was also very motivational. The space was beautiful with lots of natural light. While there’s no dedicated locker room, I was fine using the bathroom to change and storing my stuff in the lockers. I also appreciated that socks weren’t required since barefoot was an option.

She has a calming and soothing instruction that is clear and highlights which muscles are activated for each exercise. Her routines are well thought out and creative and the right amount of challenging for me. She incorporates weights and yoga blocks which keeps it fresh!     Nice, convenient little gym and super clean, not busy locker room/showers. They had a lot of good updated cardio machines and space and mats to stretch afterwards.
