Really lovely dancer, choreographer and teacher! The combo was maybe a bit complex for what I expected (warmup and across the floor had really basic moves, but then the dance had a lot of phrases, turns, nuances…but it was a really cool dance and supportive atmosphere.

I really enjoyed Olivia’s class. This challenged my core in an unimaginable way. Her voice is very soothing and she was very friendly after class. Definitely plan to take this class again as well as some of her other classes too.

First time taking this class, was a bit hard to follow as the others have already learned 3-4 classes worth of choreography. Instructor mainly teaches in mandarin however, will go over the steps and counts several times. When dancing with the music, the choreographed dance is beautiful to see and you can tell some in the class have traditional Chinese dance background. Definitely a challenge but also a good workout. Recommend to take if you’re interested in learning Chinese traditional dance but expect to learn at a quick pace. Also, go to the Pearl Studio floors to check the monitor to see which room the class is held. Lastly, bring stretch ballet slippers/shoes if you have as all those in the class including instructor changed into those.
