see all reviewsGreat beginner class for ex-dancers!! As an ex-dancer, I was looking for a beginner class that did not walk through all the basics and this was perfect! (Not for a truly beginner beginner dancer) She will help correct a movement if you are doing moves wrong which was hard for me to find at home in an adult class!! Vanessa makes the space feel so inviting and warm! It’s honestly great to speak Spanish with her and feel at home <3 She loves to welcome everyone, say bye to them on their way out, and get to know their name so it’s truly a personal experience.

Tess provided skillful coaching and helpful encouragement throughout challenging but mostly accessible back to back exercises. Although only guy in class didn’t feel too awkward, except initially thought this was a sorta “active rest” Saturday class, ha! Yea:no more like rock your body to The Limit fr lolz. Effective and efficient if somewhat repetitive sequences, nonetheless, fun and engaging. A boon to fitness morale.

see all reviewsOur class of 3 - led by Arantza - was a lovely introduction to basic dance steps in foxtrot, tango, and waltz. Another teacher stepped in when we had to practice, so we rotated partners and practiced solo as well: both modes were very useful in perfecting the steps. Arantza also shared helpful pointers to make the steps more elegant: crucial for the beginner - like me - who often needs pointers to dance gracefully while keeping track of the steps themselves. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend the class to any beginner exploring western dance forms. They also have more focused classes on bachata, salsa, waltz etc that might be of interest to the practiced or returning dancer.
