As a regular, Dustin is by far my favourite instructor at S&T. His classes are effective (no booty bands here!) and his infectious energy is unmatched. I love how he encourages everyone to life heavy and explains the science behind each move.

I really liked Gillian's class. I think her pace is excellent with both the mat and treadmill workouts. Her writing is a lot more organized as well so it's easy to follow the mat workouts and I don't feel like I'm being rushed to hopefully finish one cycle. I think she might be my favourite instructor at Elle!

Carla was so helpful and a great instructor! Explained the machine to beginners and demonstrated exercises which other instructors haven’t done. I’d recommend putting a sign on the door downstairs - it’s a little unclear how to get into the lagree part of the studio.

VIRTUAL LIVE ONLY: ESSENTRICS STRETCH & TONE

My first time, I didn't know what to expect, and it was a good experience! The format is constant motion, mostly counterbalanced. Wide range of motion, uses more parts of your joints than you typically use in a regular day. Lauren gives great cues, so it's easy to follow along and transition.

Loft is honestly the best spin studio in the city, and instructors like Morgan is a part of what sets them a part from more generic studios. I believer her dance background offers itself beautifully to creating classes with great routines, and amazing music. You feel like a part of the Loft community regardless of how infrequent you may visit. Don’t sleep on this gem of a studio!

    Grounded [Pilates] in the Park

This was a kick ass class. Challenging in a very good way. Will come back. This is located in the space above Lululemon. The front door is locked so you have to make sure you're there BEFORE class starts so the instructor can sign you in and let you up. all equipment is provided, including mats. The lavender infused cold towel at the end of class was a really nice touch.

Honestly you need to try spinning with chuck - it was so awesome. He knew everyone in the class by name, including the two new people, and was very motivating. He was also funny, had great music, and would even fill up our water bottles for us while we were spinning.

Awesome class! Victa really pushes you to take things a notch higher. I often underestimate my own abilities or can be shy to pick up a heavier weight, but he is very motivating and encourages you to push yourself and get out of your comfort zone!
