    IN-STUDIO - Basic Level Yoga

Lea is a gem. She’s so smart and so kind and so grounded and so knowledgeable and so playful. I have so much fun in her profoundly challenging and yet weirdly accessible beginner class. It’s great for newbies or experienced students who want to really fine tune and enhance the integrity of their asanas. Her instructions are perfection. She recommends variations to accommodate people of varying strength and agility and shape. She makes yoga so fun. My mood is always improved for having taken her sublime class. Endlessly grateful for this studio!

It was a different experience for me! I’ve never taken jiu jitsu before or any martial arts class before. The space is small but has enough space for floor work. Everyone was kind and welcoming. The instructor was really informative and walked me through everything. Even the partner I ended up working with was teaching me and explaining the floor work and terms. I recommend not having any jewelry on when coming in such as a septum, and any nose or ear piercing jewelry in. I was told because it was a safety hazard for me which makes complete sense but I couldn’t remove my nose piercings there. I ended up having to watch them do some floor work instead of participating because of it. Next time I will come prepared!

Then we paired up to practice different sequences for 15 min. After that we practiced our lessons in a playful sparring session amongst the other class mates. This was a great strength full body workout with cardio. Regardless of ability or fitness level the instructor makes you feel comfortable and is very patient.
