Vinyasa / Sunrise Flow
see all reviewsReally nice class with a lot of fun poses. Plus the space is really beautiful. There's something about the physical design and feel of a space that really makes the difference between a great practice and a spectacular practice.

see all reviewsI love this class! It’s a great mix of challenging strength work and stretching muscles I don’t use very often. The teacher is absolutely lovely - I appreciate that she remembers everyone’s names and is actively engaged with her class.

see all reviewsJames’s classes are challenging and varied. He creates unique sequences to fun music and introduces advanced poses, which strengthens his students’ practices and keeps everyone on their toes (and heads). He’s also very perceptive about people’s needs and abilities, which enables him to suggest helpful adjustments so people can maximize their practice.

see all reviewsA favorite new class for me! I love the combination of a flow and restorative yoga practice. I carry a lot of tension in my body and this class was great for stretching, slowing down, and calm. Cyndi gave lots of hands on assists during the restorative portion, which I love and missed greatly during the pandemic! You can just turn over a little card in front if your mat if you don’t want to be touched, though. Will be back!

see all reviewsThe class was very accessible with a pace and offering of options for me to explore where I was or needed to be in each pose. Jules was encouraging and talked a bit - often said what I was thinking about how a pose felt. She also offered me some insights on how to work my neck - positioning my shoulders using a wall or where to place my hands so that I can slowly improve my mobility.

see all reviewsBy far the best place for a yin practice in the DC area. Tammy is very knowledgeable about anatomy and makes sure we get a good all around holding stretch. The heat from the previous Bikram class helps a lot as well (heat is turned off but it’s a nice warm space for yin yoga).

see all reviewsGreat barre class at a yoga studio! Since it’s not a barre studio, there aren’t actual ballet barres to use (either use a wall or do stuff in the room center). But you use weights and balls. I’ve been twice and like that it’s different each time and seems like a good work out. I appreciate the instructor makes corrections too, when your form is off. #ClassPassInsider
