[solidcore] reviews on ClassPass

4.9 out of 5 stars (5000+)
“I was very intimidated and it took a lot to actually go through a class but, I’m so glad I did. The instructor made the experience accessible and encouraging, the class flew by and I’m looking forward to my next. For any first timer, videos online fail to mention this, this is “your” workout — your pace, your intensity, and your machine.”
“I loved this class! It was the perfect level of difficulty — I felt empowered and the instructor challenged me to push myself more! She is very helpful in explaining and demonstrating the moves so I never feel lost in her class. My booty is definitely burning but I love it!”
“One of the most challenging motivating classes I’ve ever taken. It was slightly confusing as a newbie just cause there’s a lot being said the entire class but the instructor did a great job explaining everything and assisting when needed. My whole body is still shaking and I know I’m gonna be super sore but it feels very rewarding getting through a class like that! I’ll definitely be back.”

FAQ's

Have questions about [solidcore]? We’re here to help.
Is [solidcore] right for you?
[solidcore] is great for people seeking a challenging megaformer Pilates class. Locations often dim the lights and design energetic playlists, so you may forget you’re in a workout class and not a trendy new night club. [solidcore] is also great for people intimidated by large, packed classes because at some locations class sizes are capped at 13 students.

What muscles are used in a [solidcore] class?
A [solidcore] class primarily targets and works the core muscles, including the abdominals, obliques and lower back. However, the workout also engages and strengthens other muscle groups throughout the body, such as the arms, shoulders, legs and glutes. The slow and controlled movements performed on the Megaformer machine engage multiple muscle groups simultaneously, resulting in a comprehensive full-body workout.

What is the difference between [solidcore] and regular Pilates?
While both [solidcore] and Pilates focus on core strength and overall body conditioning, there are three key differences between the two: intensity, equipment and pace. [solidcore] workouts are faster paced than traditional Pilates classes, making them more intense and challenging. While a Pilates class may involve many types of equipment, including mats, chairs, resistance bands, etc., [solidcore] only uses the Megaformer machine.
