    THE DISTANCE

Super intense! Great for those training for long distance races who want to get an opportunity to really push themselves to increase their base speed, climb massive hills in their running courses (if they exist), and mentally prepare for a challenging hour plus long run that requires endurance, stamina and smart pacing to complete. My legs felt like jelly after. I was dehydrated, exhausted, and could barely move when I was done. But I know this class made me a better runner.

    Outdoor Series: Track & Bridges

Rah was super helpful I’m terms of telling me about my form and running with me even though I was in last place. He’s nice and told me about other runs I should come to that they do. It was a tempo run with a warm up to and from the Williamsburg bridge. I was happy when it was over ????

Amazing!! Tara and all of the assistant trainers for the stations were phenomenal. You workout in pairs, so if you have a buddy, bring them. If not, youll make a friend. I would absolutely recommend this class to others. 5 stars!

It was Rachel’s first class and she was really great. I like how she didn’t talk too too much but was very motivating. I liked her music. One thing I didn’t like? The bikes were so close together that I kept tapping the arm of the guy next to me. Annoying.

Great hiit / tabata metabolic work out. Think timed intervals with pylometrics. This instructor had great energy. Heavy on the mainstream EDM. This class had a lot of jump roping for cardio which I'm not that good at. Only style point is I wish he had given some modifications. Also didn't appreciate him filming us without asking our permission for his social media.

This class wasn't AS insanely hard as some other Physique57 classes I've taken (or maybe I just wasn't pushing myself hard enough?) but I still got a great full body toning session- loved the amount of ab work we did! Was pretty scared cause Y7 classes are hard enough with core work already built in. This wasnt too bad. Only 45 minutes so some core work, a few sun salutations, more core work, a long sequence, a final core burst. Wasnt too hot, wasnt too hard, the instructor was good and worked with us which never usually happens in Y7. She also did a quick little massage during shavasana.

I first took Rebecca's class during her last week before she went on maternity leave and I was so sad I only just discovered how amazing she was before she had her baby. Fast forward a few months and I'm thrilled she's back on the bike and is an even more incredible instructor (#superwoman). I used to think kyle was an A+ instructor but I think rebecca is clearly the best at motivating clients and putting the time into the playlist. Love love love her. He does alterations to those who are more advanced and modifications to those who cant quite keep up. Wonderful encouraging coach and I love going here.

    #HipHopWednesdays WeFlowHard Vinyasa Yoga

Love this class, but I have to comment on the locker room. Love that they have showers unlike their other locations and Malin and Goetz products. However, there have been a few times now where the products were empty in the showers and I had to wait naked, in a towel, in the coed locker room for them to refill. They also only have one hair dryer. For $20, it would be of significant value add to their clients. Final thing is I'd prefer if they gave out more than one towel. With a coed bathroom especially, where you need to dry off and change immediately after showering, one towel doesn't really do the trick.

Incredibly challenging instructor who kept class fun + light hearted throughout all of the burning. Think that was the toughest thighs section I've ever had in my 3 years at P57. My hammies + quads are sore already. Only critique is that her music doesn't flow well so the beats were faster/slower while we were still in a certain position when a new song started. Lots of readjusting speeds during class bc of it

Pilates is always a toss up for me bc I have a spinal fusion and I have some limitation in what I can do, but I was able to talk to the instructor before class and she was super helpful and helped make suggestions for modifications. Other instructors I've had in the past at other studios only focused on my limitations which really sucked, but Jenni was very accommodating and I got a great workout too! Highly recommend!

You know that class is more intense than its usual super tough status quo when a guy stops after the 2nd station to go outside to puke. Love Ari & was so glad to see her there tonight. After the 5 min AMRAP warmup, class was 4 stations for 6 minutes each, 3-4 exercises at each, all done in the 21-15-9 breakdown. 2nd round was then 2 designated exercises at each station, each all out for 1min. Crazy good! Only issue I had is that, yet again, 1 of the stations was ALL shoulder work. I appreciate more variety than over killing a muscle group in that manner

    METHOD 45

This class was great! It was so much better than to the first and only other fly wheel spin class Ive done. Brian is a great instructor. He announced what range we should be at and the speed each time. The other time I went, the woman never said what we should be at and I couldnt hear her well because the music was soooo loud. This was such a better class!

    METHOD 45

Good energy instructor. Free water, shoes, towels, shower facilities. Hate the new bikes. The space between the feet is narrower or maybe Im just knock kneed. I keep hitting the torque dial with my knees and changing the torque by accident. Would recommend that you wipe the weights / seats yourself before class. Theres always sweat still all over. The grip on my weight stank so bad when I picked it up I almost puked. Had to drop it and change weights.

This is a tough class and feels like it should be 15 min shorter than it is - you do a series of two sets of exercises, 3 rounds of each one. Kamaye was fun and lighthearted while still being encouraging and pushing the class.
