How to prepare

1. New students must arrive 15 mins early 2. Socks and pants required (no shorts) 3. Only non-breakable water containers allowed 4. No gum or cell phones 5. Instructors may adjust your body or call your name out in class 6. Pregnant students (new) must take prenatal class or DVD. Returning students should have a doctor’s note

How to get there

The Bar Method Wellesley studio is conveniently located at 66 Central Street in Wellesley Square. They offer complimentary water, coffee and tea, and encourage clients to browse their curated in-studio high-end active-wear boutique before or after class.

Did NOT like Rachel as a teacher- she kept messing up the instructions, she was absolutely screaming when counting down, she kept losing her train of thought, and she demonstrated nothing. I take plenty of bar classes, but every studio does things slightly differently so it helps to show me- Im not a mind reader. Bummer, as normally I love the instructors/classes at this studio.

This was my first Bar Method class. Kelly was so kind and welcoming and it was a great workout!!

I think Daniela is fairly new and overall it was challenging and pretty good. Taking off a star for a few cues and counting that were off. Also another teacher was in the class and whispered things to her and I found it distracting.

very challenging but Sarah offered modifications and corrections that helped to stay in proper form through the challenge.

I love the bar method. but I feel like I was ignored. I was new for the teacher, she never asked my name or injuries. didn't give me any corrections. It never happened at the Boston locations. still the greatest work out!

What is ClassPass?
