About this studio

MOD Fitness incorporates an athletic approach to barre-based workouts. MOD classes combine innovative strength and resistance training, cardio and stretching exercises to sculpt your body. Expect a long, lean physique, better posture, and increased flexibility. MOD Burn is not permitted for pregnant clients. MOD Childcare is not available for Class Pass clients. You must purchase a drop-in class or class package directly through the website at modfitness.com to sign up and register for childcare.

How to prepare

Wear comfortable fitness clothing that allows you to move. Socks are required during class. Bring water to stay hydrated.

How to get there

Please note that there is limited parking in the back of the studio. Street parking is available around Ramsey Park on Rosedale Avenue and Burnet Road, which will be a one-block walk to the studio. Enter through the back of the studio.

A little too easy on the legs
MOD Burn with Christine
Christine was great!! She made me feel welcome and even though it was my first time I didn't have trouble following.

There was only rap music so I would’ve liked other music too. This wasn’t the most personable experience I’ve had here. Usually an instructor asks you if you have any injuries if you haven’t taken a class with her before. Mary still taught a good and challenging class. Would love to see more barre + classes in the morning!
MOD Burn
The glute work with the band was hard, but I wish the arm and ab exercises were harder. For the cardio bursts we did burpees, jumping jacks, plank jacks, high knees, squat jumps, etc. Jennifer’s classes are consistently good and are faster since it’s the burn class!

This was not a Burn class, the schedule changed. It is a Barre Express class now.

Barely worked out our legs! Too much arms. Good transitions but I wish we had done more legs.

Kelly is wonderful. I took the early class and it was just the best start to my day.

Even though it was a hard class, Meredith makes it go by fast and makes sure the class isn’t boring. There were a lot of cardio bursts, but they weren’t that long. I enjoy Meredith’s teaching style - she challenges you and has fun exercises.

Brittany is the best instructor! The class is challenging but she makes it fun and time flies by so quickly!

Brittany was the instructor. Her classes are so well put together and her counts are always correct, which doesn’t always happen when taking barre classes. She teaches her classes confidently and she knows what she’s doing!

What is ClassPass?
