About this studio

Hey Paddle offers small group total body fitness classes but with a twist. Their 60 minute classes are taught on a paddleboard on their floating fitness studios!

How to prepare

Please wear comfortable clothing you are willing to get wet. They also recommend you wear rubber soled shoes like flip flops to help you transition in & out of the water, but you will be barefoot during class. They provide boards, life vests & a paddle. They also have a place for your keys & phone. Your water & shoes can be secured on the board. Other than that, all you'll need to provide is a positive attitude & high energy. Please note reservations close 15 minutes in advance.

How to get there

Please meet at the boat ramp directly across from the Austin High School track off of Stephen F Austin Drive, between the Texas Rowing Center and Cesar Chavez. There is free street parking along the trail on Stephen F. Austin Drive. SUNDAY CLASSES: Meet at the boat ramp on East Ave behind the Holiday Inn on the northwest side of Lady Bird Lake and 35.

Kat is the best! Its a great challenge if youre used to Pilates on a mat and I always appreciate the modification suggestions. Also these classes are so much fun and make you wonder why would anyone work out in a gym when you can be out paddling on the water at sunset!

Chris is a great instructor - fun, patient, and made me comfortable (as comfortable as I allowed myself to feel!). The class was a good mix of core exercises and paddling practice. I love this class so much!

Kat is awesome! I've never been on a SUP before and this class is indeed perfect for a first-timer, or anyone who needs a little more time getting comfortable on the board. I loved that we did some core work, well, all the time on the board was core work! I highly recommend this class!

Chris was great! I was really nervous about falling in which ultimately happened, twice. She was very patient and encouraging the entire class. I definitely recommend taking her class especially if you are like me and havent been on a paddle board in a while.

What is ClassPass?
