Fourth Friday of the month is Day of Reckoning- which means we do laps of the bridge. The best part is that we do a "Day of Remedy" after where we all go to Remedy Diner for breakfast together. Looking forward to pancakes makes those hills seem just a little less steep :)

Rain cant stop us! Did intervals of squats, plank, sprints and running to the top of the bridge and back based on a deck of cards. (Each suit is a different exercise.) afterwards we went as a group to doughnut plant!!! So good.

Pro tip- after the Day of Reckoning (continuous loops of the bridge) we do Day of Remedy (aka breakfast at Remedy Diner)! We do this the fourth Friday of every month- its even better than a post workout coffee!

The last week of the month we do sprints!!!

One of our regulars, Sarah promises to do burpees all the way up and down the bridge if we get 30 people to come on a Friday morning. We'd love to see more fellow ClassPass folks! The last Friday of the month is "Day of Reckoning"- you try to do as many (.8 mile) laps of the bridge in 30 minutes as you can. Afterwards, we go to Remedy Diner for a special once a month group breakfast. It's a great workout and an amazing community!

This morning's workout was obstacles! So in between parts of the bridge were stations where we did things like lunges, tuck jumps, sprints, etc. Then if we finished before time was up, we held plank or did a wall sit at the bottom of the bridge. After that, we all went for coffee at Pause Cafe which is nice!

*Please note that the Rise NYC - Hills is taking a break until March! Please check back then to sign up for workouts :) FREE Outdoor fitness in the concrete jungle. The Rise NYC has early morning group workouts for everyone with seven intense workouts throughout the week. All workouts are FREE. No more excuses. Rise up! The group meets on Friday at Williamsburg Bridge for hills. Every morning is a challenge. Some weeks we bust our butts to run up and down the Manhattan-side incline for thirty minutes. Other weeks we do short, timed sprint intervals. Sometimes we set up workout stations and run from exercise to exercise. The results are unmistakable.

What is ClassPass?
