How to prepare

To check-in at the Front Desk let them know you are a Class Pass guest and present your driver's license. Please allow a few extra minutes for first time guests. Additionally, please wear clothing that is comfortable for exercise. All necessary equipment is provided.

How to get there

Fitness at Houston's First is located inside Houston's First Baptist Church at 7401 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX, 77024. The facility is located at the farthest southeast side of the church closest to Post Oak Rd. You will enter where you see Fitness & Recreation on the building. The Front Desk can be seen immediately. Group classes are upstairs.

Super fun and challenging workout!

Loved this class. Maria was a great instructor and provided lots of modifications.

Pilates
The instructor was nice and there were options to level up intensity, but I still didnt feel challenged most of the class. Also I didnt realize that it was at a church till I arrived. Im not a religious person, but didnt think itd really come up so I went anyways, but religious music was played the whole time, and we ended with a prayer. Just a heads up to people who might want something different. But people were nice, facility was well maintained, instructions were clear, and the class was well stocked.

Pilates
Debbie was VERY nice, however I do prefer instructors that check on students....which she never did. In terms of First Baptist...It would be great to have instructions on where to go in the building--perhaps editing the Class Pass description is in order. Additionally, the people we did encounter before Debbie were not welcoming.

Step
Debbie was welcoming and fun. It was my first time at a step class, and my first workout postpartum. It was gentle enough but still got my heart pumping!
