About this studio

Most of Crank Cycling Studio's classes are 45 minutes long and tend to be “interval” training - high exertion followed by recovery. Indoor cycling is a tremendous way to burn calories and increase your metabolism. The experience in each class varies depending primarily on the instructor’s style and their musical selections. Crank Cycling Studio's instructors are creative with their music selections and use a variety of genres. This really keeps the classes motivational, even inspirational, and most importantly, fun!

How to prepare

Water and workout apparel. Dress in cool clothing or layers - the workout gets warm. Cycling shoes and towels are provided. Please note: water is available for purchase at the front desk. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to class, especially if you are a new rider in order to fill out a first time rider waiver. You won't realize you're getting such a great workout because you'll be having so much fun at this immaculate studio in Yorkville.

How to get there

Please note that doors will be closed at the start of class and latecomers will not be admitted in order to preserve the experience of the other riders. Thank you for your understanding!

The class was hard, but I found the instructor to be very abrasive. He would come over and yell in your face and turn your resistance up without asking. I personally don’t want to feel “picked on” and “watched” during a work out class.

Instructor was off the bike a lot of the time, which isn’t great. Also the studio could use a dehumidifier or something because the mirror gets so foggy. That being said, due to location I do enjoy Crank in general

What is ClassPass?
