About this studio

Toronto's first fitness studio dedicated to barre based workouts. Barreworks blends dance conditioning, yoga, pilates and fitness training into one dynamic class for a total body toning workout. The result? A leaner, longer and stronger you. Raise the barre on your workout. Experience Barreworks.

How to prepare

Bring a reusable water bottle and grip socks if desired. All equipment is provided, including mats for yoga classes. So just bring yourself and excitement to join us at the barre! All classes start on-time, late admittance is NOT permitted. Please arrive at least fifteen minutes before class.

Yonge Street Location: 2576 Yonge Street, on the NW corner of Briar Hill & Yonge, on the 2nd floor (about a ten minute walk North from Yonge & Eglinton) All classes start on-time, late admittance is NOT permitted. Please arrive at least fifteen minutes before class.

Great class, low impact on joint but calories burnt

Great class! You get a full body work out and Jane-Alison is great at providing modifications to help people of all fitness levels get the best workout for their body and fitness goals. I also like that the instructor will correct your form or make adjustments so that you are performing the exercises safely and effectively! You really work up a sweat so adding a few more seconds in between sequences for a quick water break would be great. Overall, fantastic workout that delivers!

This class was not very good. It felt as though the moves were made up on the spot and in order to “sweat” the instructor just made us do the moves faster to an impossibly quick pace with slow, quiet music

What is ClassPass?

ClassPass is a new kind of gym membership that grants you access to thousands of different classes at studios and gyms in your city and around the world.

Price of membership depends on your plan type and city, and you can book and explore classes ranging from yoga to barre to cycling to martial arts – the options are truly endless!

The number of classes you can take and the number of times you can visit a studio per month depends on which plan you're on. You can figure out which plan you're on by going to your Account Settings and looking under 'Your current plan.' With hundreds of studios in our ever-growing network, you're bound to always find a new class to enjoy. When your cycle renews, you can go back and revisit those favorites yet again!
