    Love all the instructors at Fhitting Room. They’re all consistently strong, all very focused on form and going around to help adjust each person, very encouraging and make you wanna come back. I used to focus on other classes but FR has become my main workout now, love the sense of community here and that there are 2 instructors per class

    Not sure why there are so many negative reviews on this particular location. The staff is super nice, it’s well kept, and if you make it on any other time of the day except for 6 PM, it’s manageable.

    I have loved Fhitting Room in studio for years and it’s amazing to see how well they have translated that to at home body weight only workouts. Excellent class, plenty of sweat, great music and great energy from Riley, as always! My only request would be more classes or even rebroadcasts around the clock!

    Amazing to be back in class! After a year plus of not stepping foot in a fitness studio or gym, being left to my own devices at home in my makeshift apartment gym, I have sorely missed a true barre class and Kat was as intense and challenging as I remember. She didn’t waste a second of the hour and gave us an incredibly thorough workout. Capacity is capped so there was plenty of space between students with mask and cleaning protocols in place. Only caveat is that I wish the showers reopen bc there’s nothing worse than having to commute home when super sweaty after class & not even be able to wash off.

    Love this gym. My only suggestion lately is that they have four true spin bikes and two are closed off for covid to make space, but It would be nice to take those other two bikes and put them somewhere else so they can be in use as well, since the open two are always so popular right now.

    Sarah’s class was the toughest class I’ve very taken at Y7 (both around NYC and in LA). She had awesome, unique flow sequences and challenging modifications for advanced students. I appreciated her fast pace even during the “down time” in between flows. It felt like not a minute of class was wasted. I hope to find her on the UES schedule more often. Can’t wait to take a class with her again!

    H.I.I.T. the Deck!

    I was the only person in the class for the day, and the instructor was great about correcting my form to make sure I was doing everything properly. It was a great workout and really hard. You will definitely get a great sweat! Each card suit was a different exercise - 2 lower body and 2 upper body. The number on the card was the number of reps. The instructor pulls 4 cards each round, one from each suit. I didn’t make it through the whole deck by myself but I got pretty far.

    Great strength training class. feeling sore. wish it had more cardio, but the instructor did explain to me it would not. that said, still left with an elevated heart rate and a good Fitbit calorie burn. plus, with strength training, I probably burned a lot of calories after the fact as strength training tends to do.

    This is the best class there. The other classes feel like to are just paying for a treadmill. This is mostly running but then a good about the if kettlebell however I do wish there was a bit more encouragement and push in class but that’s just the inner me wanting a boot camp type class .

    REFORMER JUMP BOARD

    This is definitely a jump board cardio pilates class! Be prepared to warm up for 5 minutes and then be jumping the rest of the time. Class sizes are small, reformers are on the older side and it’s a no frills studio, but it’s an amazing workout.

    Loved the class setup and flow. 12 min on treadmill, 12 min on floor with bodyweight or dumbbell movements, 12 on treadmill, 12 on floor. Good music, great facility, but be prepared for lots of motivational speeches and “look within yourself and why you came here” talks.

    Challenging class if you want cardio. Skiier, rowing, and biking plus Tabatas in between. Everyone was very friendly. Fairly clean facilities. Small changing/shower rooms but they have shampoo/conditioner/body wash, free towels and other feminine amenities. No filter water just tap sink water or purchase so make sure you have one with you.
