    Really enjoyed this class! It was tough without being impossible for a first timer. I would say I’m beginner to low intermediate fitness level depending on the activity and I found this the perfect mix or cardio and strength. Simple exercises and enough reps to get the speed. The instructor was amazing, I think her name was Mackenzie. She was so welcoming and showed me around the whole space before class, and made me really comfortable. Her instructions were clear and simple.

    This is a full body workout! Courtney had a great playlist and brought the energy needed to power through the class. As a beginner and first timer to the studio, I found the instruction was clear and easy to follow. Highly recommend this class if you are looking to shake up your routine. The studio is easy to get to and very clean and inviting. I will definitely be back and highly recommend the class and Courtney as an instructor!

    I loved the practice space it had a very cozy and relaxing vibe - hardwood floors and soft lighting and exposed brick. The instructor helped us push through some faster paced flow together but gave awareness towards opting out of the flow which was inclusive to meet all levels. I do feel like I will be a bit sore tomorrow so my body definitely worked out from the class! The class did feel like it went by quickly so I must have really gotten into the zone!

    This is my second time taking this Wednesday evening class at Mosaic Sterling and I am really loving the sleepy, calm and peaceful energy of the space. The instructor has a way about him that creates comfort and ease when he guides the room into a reflective and relaxed practice. I leave feeling the buzz from my mind quietened and centred. I appreciate the movements from the flow at the beginning as they help to push out any tension or energy that needs to be released. It is a class that offers a balanced experience with an emphasis on spirituality/healing and going at your own pace wherever you are :)

    Hali was an amazing instructor. I did the Chakra Hatha Flow class and was nervous as I read the class was ideal for people with some experience which I don’t have much but my goal is to try different types of yoga and see which ones I like most. Studio was clean and lots of natural light. Although I can’t hold/do all the yoga poses, Hali expressed something along the lines of not pushing ourselves too much which made me feel very comfortable. Would definetly go back.

    I have really enjoyed trying out classes at the Modo studios - this was my first time at the St.Claire studio. It has a very similar relaxed and welcoming, cozy vibe as the studio in Bloor West. For this Hatha class - I really enjoyed slow pace of the class and how long we held the poses to really feel the pose deeply. I also appreciated the way the class started in savasana and we returned to it mid practice to centre ourselves after a difficult balance flow and rest. It was nice that the instructor offered a flow in the practice for whoever wanted to add it in - and ended in seated poses helped us stretch out our body and not put too much pressure on balancing or down dogging. Overall a lovely practice :) thank you Modo!

    Every time I go to this studio it does feel a little cramped as so many people are fit into the room, but it is clearly this way because so many people love these classes. The instructors are extremely clear with their instructions so that you can follow along just by listening to them and don’t need to see the movements to follow along. Makes it easier to focus on just your own body and breathing and almost forget about the many people around you. Very comfortable and inclusive space.
