see all reviewsI loved this class! The instructor was energetic, skilled and friendly. He kept us on pace and showed us proper form. The class was very challenging, even though I’m used to lifting 12 pound weights and work out everyday. You will definitely get your money’s worth! The class was less than half full, so there was plenty of space but still enough people to give you the classic Barry’s energy. The locker rooms, showers and toiletries are high quality - I felt like I had the red carpet rolled out for me! I was able to get cleaned up and be sparkling after class, too!

see all reviewsThis review is long overdue! Mark is my favorite teacher at Physique 57. I’ve been following him uptown and downtown for the last three months. I love his energy, his smile, his humor, and his playlist - it’s the best!! What I love is that he makes sure the movements align perfectly with the beat of the music, something I’ve noticed other teachers don’t often do. So it makes this intense workout more fun and pleasurable. My body has transformed, and I feel like a queen! So grateful for Mark and his class 🥰

I really appreciated when the instructor told us which muscle we were working bc some of the movements were pretty unfamiliar and I wasn’t sure what I was supposed to be feeling. Overall I really feel like the instructor made this a great experience and I’d love to go back!

Shoshana is attentive to detail and gave great pointers on the best ways to keep form. Some of the pacing was fast towards the end, but it was still good enough to understand the moves. Class is really focused on elongation, posture, and a proper foundation of the basic for ballet. This was my first class, and I would definitely recommend it to other beginners
