She did a great job mixing up exercises and keeping things from being too terribly long so that you can push through (ie: splitting up abs and obliques). I also appreciated that she’s one of the only coaches I can actually understand on her mic! Great class.

see all reviewsThis was my first strength-focused fitness class ever and I came alone pretty nervous, but Jaina was so extremely helpful with her corrections and suggestions! It was definitely difficult (and I was using the lightest weights!), but I feel really good coming out of it and I intend to come back and take more classes :)

see all reviewsJose is probably the best teacher I’ve ever had teaching this style of lagree/pilates. He incorporated some great yoga poses at the end for max stretch and recovery. My husband and I are really excited to take his class again. He was also amazing at correcting my form and I could really feel the muscle engagement after he did that. 10/10

She was a great instructor and I definitely feel comfortable taking it again. Lots of great feedback that I understood well and actually improved my movements/posture. Smaller classes too which helps to keep more of a focus on individuals!

Core Classics
see all reviewsToday’s Core Classics class was terrific! Cat kept a focused, calm yet somehow still energizing vibe in the studio from start to finish. Her directions were clear and concise, and she modeled each action too. She came over to assist me and another newcomer when we needed it (ex: using the XFormer, shifting our body position, or redirecting us when we were completely off). What I appreciated most of all, though, was how she offered modifications to each movement with info about how each would work a body part/s differently, add or decrease challenge, be more protective of certain parts, etc. She said all of this fluidly and concisely and maintained a body positive, judgement neutral tone—the point is to find and do what is best for your body that day. I loved it! She also took time after class to ask about my experiences at her studio so far and and actively listened to my responses. She shared which classes and instructors might be the strongest fit for me, based on my needs and schedule. I’m looking forward to my next class at Core Havn!
