SIX PACKS & BACKS Sculpt Full Body

It’s been a long time since I’ve been able to come to Bodyrok. Great class, good instruction and encouragement. Music was fun and I felt the burn. Unrelated to the instructor but my wrists are a little weak so some of the moves in Bodyrok are tough for me.

Ash is such a positively encouraging instructor. She is very detail oriented in proper form and alignment and she takes the time to explain what we're doing so no one is lost. She pushes us to do our best but also not to the point of injury. Definitely coming back for some more classes!

We had a very welcoming and friendly instructor, Carl, who is also the owner. Several of the attendees, like me, were new to the studio. He tailored the class to us and really personalized the experience. Did some upper body choreo but not overwhelming. Definitely a great workout! The studio also has a nice locker room with showers (I believe) and everything from ear plugs to Bobbie pins, hair dryers, etc. Very nice!

    Waterbike 101 - Basics

This class was really informative and give me an intro on the in and outs of SpinOut, their Waterbikes and best practices to keep everyone safe and having fun. The place is a bit tricky to find but we found our instructor at gate 2 for the Marina. I can wait until March when they launch their membership and new program schedule.

    REVOLUTIONS - COMMUNITY CLASS

Ankit was great! I enjoyed being a part of his first class at Uforia and loved his chill but energetic vibes (not screamy, aggressive or boring, dead) and especially loved his dance moves on the floor! He was silly and encouraging and really fun to be part of his class! I’d take his class again!

So far I like Chris’s classes. The music and pace work for me - I like that there’s always a few solid sprints for that adrenaline boost. I can see how some reviewers are put off by the instructor’s tendency to mention how much *real* exercise he does, but all in all I found him friendly and motivating.

    Tread Bootcamp

Similar to Orangetheory Fitness or Barry’s where the class was a combo of treadmill workout upstairs followed by weights in the downstairs studio. Just like OTF and Barry’s, treadmill workout was a mix of speed and inclines so perfect if you love cardio workout! This is a good starter class for ClassPass members that would like to sign up for Barry’s but are intimated.

    XPOLE

As a complete first timer, Kissy was extremely patient and gave me one on one attention to help me do moves that I would not have thought I’d be able to do. She was really welcoming and encouraging. There were about seven people in the class (a couple first timers and mostly experienced). It’s a private space so you’re not practicing in front of the rest of the gym.
