Lindsay was the instructor and she was attentive and encouraging to everyone in the class! It was also such an uplifting and positive space, everyone was cheering each other on and giving high-fives the whole class! It was a bit hard to hear some of the instructions at the beginning but it is very easy to follow others and keep up if you miss something. I would definitely recommend it to both beginners and advanced levels because you can choose your weights and intensity.

see all reviewsI enjoyed the class! I've taken aerial silks before and it was much like that course. We reviewed some of the basic wraps and got into a couple of basic poses. Even though they were basic, they can still pose a challenge and be fun depending on your skill level. The class works muscles that go under the radar. Mostly those that are found in the arms and back. It also works your hands, fingertips, feet, and toes. This can be uncomfortable for some, but remember your body isn't used to using some of these muscle groups. It's just waking up to new movements. I highly recommend this class and instructor. I'll definitely be back! The only thing that I wasn't a fan of was that the silks/fabrics had a stench.. We sprayed them down with a solution after use, but I'm not sure how often they are washed.
