It was a special experience being at the studio - there is a certain depth and beauty to the space. The location, the building itself - everything left me in awe. I enjoyed the class a lot, it was on the challenging side but still manageable. The instructions were clear, and the flow kept me very present. I felt my body and spirit strengthening, for which I’m very much grateful! I would have appreciated some hands-on adjustments, though I’m not sure if that’s not offered at this studio in general or if it was the teacher’s choice. Otherwise, this was a top-level practice for me! Very thankful, and I’ll definitely be treating myself to these practices from time to time, even though I travel from Brooklyn, Greenpoint. 💗

    Foundation Hum (Hips)

Beautiful, spacious studio space. Good class for beginners or to help fine tune basic poses in a lower key flow w moderately slow progression. Instructors diction was slow and deliberate in particularly well enunciated perfect balanced pitch/volume making it easy to follow if a bit formulaic.

    SCULPT

Instructor had great energy and presence. I really liked his teaching style. Not a challenging class at all. About fifty minutes of deep stretching and core work, more than a sculpting/strength class. As a runner though I felt like the exercises and stretches were a great compliment to running.

    YM Flow - L2

Loved this class. Beautiful studio, great environment and thoughtful instructor. Music was great too. I really enjoyed the flow and pace; time flew by that I didn’t even notice the 60min go by. I was completely immersed. Though I’m not an advanced yogi, this was certainly a more challenging class (at least for me). I have a good understanding of yoga poses so was able to follow the class

The instructor was kind and made me feel comfortable. I am a beginner to yoga and this class was geared towards more experienced yogis. Fair warning, the room is HOT and you’ll sweat ALOT. It made me dizzy and I had to step out. It seems if you go frequently, you’ll be more acclimated to the heat.

    Beginners Ashtanga Yoga

My first venture into Ashtanga after a good bit of hatha and vinyasa classes and I’m happy I went! It was a satisfying class, fairly fast paced, good stretching, precise. Overall the vibe is more serious than some others. A true beginner to any yoga might struggle to keep up. Loved the long shivasana.
