Hot Vinyasa - Community ($10 or your class card)

I loved Arden's class! The clients at this studio are animals though. There aren't a lot of coat hooks in the changing room. I saw someone tear my coat down, toss it on the floor, so they could get to their stuff

    Vinyasa Foundations

What I love about Nicole's class is that she explains the poses in details and the pace is slower so that the students can really focus on the right alignments, not just quickly flow through the sequences. Her sequences of poses are well thought out. Even though it is a foundation class, it is challenging because when you are really focusing on engaging the right muscles to achieve the right alignment make you work extra hard and sweat a lot! Nicole is also very friendly and making people new to yoga feel at ease and not intimidated. She goes around to correct forms and give modifications for people with injuries. A wonderful practice!

    Slow It Down

Good class, clear instructions, creative teacher. I really enjoyed the restorative part. It was my first time at this studio and I was a bit taken aback by the method of counting breaths which I’ve rarely encountered before.

    Vinyasa Flow (Level 2)

Finally found the yoga studio I was looking for in the neighborhood!!! Loved the instructor: started and ended the class chanting om, hands on gentle adjustments, wind chimes and aromatherapy by the end of the class. Left feeling like I was floating on a cloud. AMAZING VIBE

Christine is a really lovely person and she was a great teacher. She gave a few hands-on adjustments, which seemed well received, and also demoed poses that involved slightly more complex transitions. The only downside to class is that the window near me was open for 90% of class. While that would be lovely and refreshing in September, it's December so it felt a bit brrrisk. Can't wait to come back for another class soon!

    CORE

Really liked the instructor, she was funny and channeling positive vibes. Class is gentle in nature and an energizing hybrid of yoga + core work. It was the perfect way to start the day, just don’t go in framing the class as your workout of the day if you’re looking for something strenuous.

    Deep Stretch and Tone

Amazing instruction from Paula. This isnt a sweaty fast paced vinyasa class. Nevertheless it packs a profound physical punch - the class started out with some very subtle ab work that, to my great surprise, left my core visibly different the next day. The rest of the class focused a lot on anatomy and where your movements should be coming from. Ill definitely be back. I feel like this type of knowledge is key for aging well and preventing injuries.

This was maybe the best yoga class I’ve ever taken. Perfect mix of pace, new/different moves building on foundational moves, and positions to build up to headstands at the end. DJ was great, a unique touch to the class! Great instructor, I’ll def be back!

    Surya Hot Flow

Great class! I was initially super upset to see my favorite teacher wouldnt be teaching (although I do very much appreciate that this studio sends out a text to notify of teacher changes). I absolutely loved Ryan though. He had a great energy, and I loved this hip opening flow. Also one of the best playlists Ive practiced to in a while. Will definitely seek out his classes in the future.

    Yin Yoga

Deb offered a lot of modifications for me (pregnant) and my mom (who has back pain). She was very nice and helpful and seemed quite knowledgeable about proper body movement (even more than the average yoga teacher). My own personal preference is that the music be more relaxing- sometimes there was some light dance music playing softly in the background- which I found more energizing than relaxing and more suited to regular yoga than yin yoga. But that’s just my two cents. Nice class!
