    I really enjoyed this class. Although It was my first time back doing an intense workout in a while, Mike really made me feel like I could do anything. He learned my name and called me out multiple times. I really appreciated that. It was definitely a hard class, but it was awesome to be in a group of people that wanted to work hard. I loved the strength focus on various body parts with different tools such as TRX bands, dumbbells, kettlebells, bike, etc. Cole provided easy to understand demonstrations of exercises and personal support/form checks for any exercise you may need extra assistance with. Workout was similar to supersets/circuit training but emphasized shorter time intervals, heavy weights and overall conditioning. Cole was also super friendly and encouraging. From the moment I walked in, the front desk greeted me with a smile and was very sweet, which was incredibly comforting. As someone who is usually very self-conscious and prone to anxiety, I was a bit nervous going in. However, Liz's warm and welcoming energy immediately put me at ease. Her instruction was clear and calming, and the atmosphere in the studio was so inviting, especially with the dim lighting, which helped create a peacetul, grounding environment. I felt comfortable and at ease throughout the entire class. I left feeling both relaxed and empowered, and I'm already looking forward to coming back. If you're someone who feels anxious or out of place in group settings, I highly recommend Liz's class - she truly made a difference in helping me feel at ease. 🫶🏻

One recommendation for the studio, if there could be a rule where people can’t bring in their phones at all, rather than telling them to put it on do not disturb. Also, for people who have Apple watches or devices that light up, asking them to put it on theater mode seems not enough recently, so many are lit up and distracting in class, maybe ask people to remove those or if they see it light up again to ask them to turn it off or take it off? I have asked a couple people, but it breaks my flow.

    Incredible class!! Heat adds so much to the already challenging practice. Stacey is a fantastic teacher. I will definitely be returning to Village Yoga! Cold towel at the end was luxurious. Three things to be aware of: Very full class-- literally overflowing. The music used had lyrics (personally I find this distracting but others may enjoy it!). Plan to arrive 15 minutes earlier than necessary just to figure out parking. Overall wonderful experience & can't wait to return. :)

    The best coach ever if you need form corrections- she has such a keen and intentional eye that I genuinely feel proud of my growth when she sees me do a move and doesn't have any constructive criticism, because she's helped me grow SO much! I fully trust if I'm doing any move where I can improve that I will be spotted and guided through how to adjust. I've been grieving the loss of a pet this week and haven't been in the mood to workout at allll, but today Alexa's class was the first 50 minutes all week I didn't feel sad because I was so locked in and inspired- and felt genuinely good after todays class, I'm grateful for that!

Although I did enjoy the playlist, I did notice other classmates in the back like me who were also having trouble seeing/hearing the instructor from the back. I enjoyed the yoga sequence as well. Also very nice studio, there is street parking and a municipal parking lot at the corner of the block. You must remove your shoes upon entering studio and they have lots of cubbies to place your belongings in. Overall I enjoyed my experience and would come again! 😊
