    SPIN

Erin’s class is hands down the most methodical HIIT version of spinning. Each song feels planned with choreography that balances on that thin edge between effort and surrender. Best arms choreo also. I actually feel like I’m having a holistic workout. ????

    Roll Out

After four consecutive days of hard workouts, Roll Out was a gift. It’s like a sports massage: it doesn’t always feel good while it’s happening, but the benefits after are essential. Instruction and pacing were on point, and the studio vibe is encouraging and fun. I’ll be back!

    Hip Hop Happy Birthday (Kenny)

First time spinning at 6ix cycle and I will be back! Great hip hop tunes and Leah created a sequence that focused on core. This is probably the least pretentious spin studio in Toronto (trust me I’ve been to almost every one!) so if you are new to spinning, check this place out.

Love Rebecca! She’s has great energy, instruction and music. Although there was someone in class that was a little distracting since they were beating to their own drum and checking their mobile constantly. There’s rules for that

    Oh My Quad Ride 75

Killer class, glad they added it! Micheline does a good job of keeping the energy levels up though her counts are inconsistent and some pushes end up during song transitions which suck bc that’s when you need music the most. Just an FYI for newbies to Quad, this place is no frills compared to your Spinco, Spokehaus etc places. You get your own towels, you clean and reset your bike after. That being said it’s all about form and you’ll get a crazy work out, there’s no dancing on a bike or weights. Just don’t do that, you’ll look ridiculous! Best spin gym in the city!

If you wanna feel like a super hero running through Armageddon for to save your life amongst others, this class is for you. There’s no way you can defy Serena’s infectious spirit in pushing you through the insurmountable. And the soundtrack doesn’t hurt either. You can’t lose. LOVE the sweat, the push and the relief at the finish line all the same.

    SPOKEHAÜS 45

Overall a good class, just not my style of music. I am not a huge fan of techno/house so I prefer the dedicated hip hop classes. Also wish there wasn’t so much arm/dance choreography - I think it’s setting people up for injury. Not a big deal though, as you can opt out and just ride the bike.

Loved the playlist in this class! Also the instructor— she allowed more choice than usual for lagree instructors and that was actually so empowering. I got an insane workout and felt supported. Will look for her classes again.

This was awesome. Rich had great energy and an awesome playlist. Volume of music was a little too loud at times which caused me to not always be able to hear his instruction, but other than that, was a well placed, challenging workout!

Fun class with Anastasia! Not as challenging as the previous class I did with her, but still got pushed pretty hard. She challenges her students on technique, speed and strength, and has a great playlist (not PG, which is what Im all about - hardcore rap fits this class perfectly). There are no cutting corners with Anastasia; shell make you do it over and over until you do it right!
