Chris was very welcoming and the flow was fun. He doesn’t know this but it was my first class in over a year after being diagnosed and treated for breast cancer. It was really difficult for me; Chris said all the right things to get me in a good headspace to practice. 🙏

I’m a Tricia stan, her Primal Class has been my jam for like two years. This was my first time in Kelly’s class and I think I just need to accept that Fierce Grace only has the best teachers! Beautiful cues, pacing, gentle adjustments. Felt so supported but also challenged. Loved it.

Great class - challenging yet relaxing! Love this studio, but the mats could be a little cleaner. It would be nice to have hand towels in the bathroom as the sink knobs are hard to turn and the paper towels can be a bit messy.

She was so kind and had great energy but she just needs a bit more confidence! It was somewhat confusing when she would say “well you don’t have to do this if you don’t want to” during the workouts so I couldn’t keep track of reps. Liked the mix of yoga in it!

CORE & CARDIO Sculpt Full Body

Honestly this is my favorite class at Bodyrok! It’s the only megaformer class I can find in NYC to incorporate the jump board, which I really takes the workout up a notch. My only gripe with BodyRok in general is that there aren’t as many instructions on form, but Kristen was an exception. Having had rotator cuff surgery and tears in both shoulders, I really appreciated the options offered to modify each position to what works best for my body. Great class!

    Fight!

Coach Luis is great!! Welcoming, energetic and professional. His class was dynamic, the boxing & conditioning segments were challenging and totally do-able. We spent time on core & stability in-between the conditioning segments. The end of the class was spent one-on-one mitt work with Luis. When one person is working with Luis the rest of the class practiced the movements we learned in class on the heavy bag individually - this is pretty common in a boxing gym. Practicing the basics combos is invaluable, if you don’t execute the basics well you’re not going to level up so I thought this was great. Thank you!!!

I thought I was in shape until this class. I usually work out 3 days a week doing HIIT classes, but this one kicked by butt. Super fast paced class with no breaks.! Expect to do high reps counts of exercises like lunges, squats, deadlifts, rows, tricep extensions etc with weights in hand and cardio bursts of jumping jacks, high knees, burpees, skiers and squat jumps. FYI, no locks for lockers so you have to bring your own or find a place to stash it in the workout studio room. Class size tonight was around 25 people.

My first time in meditation. Shailly was really helpful and enthusiastic about guiding me. At first it was just me then two other guys showed up so she helped set me up perfectly. The entire experience was really inspiring and new to me. Of course my mind wandered in a million directions but thats expected for first time. Plus we also all had a good chat after about our experience. Very cool.

Sub teacher tonight- class was 6 stations-2 exercises at each, doing each exercise at the station twice (45 seconds on 15 seconds break) followed by a transition workout (planks, skaters, squat jumps) to the next station. Music wasn’t great and no warm up or cool down but it was a great and effective workout.

    Intro to Pole

Loved this class! The beginning warm up was basically a yoga/Pilates session, then we learned a few basic pole moves. I felt quite awkward at the start, but Patricia was really helpful in making you feel more confident on the pole. There are only 5 poles in the room, but luckily we didn’t really have to share. Would recommend! I’m excited to go back.
