You spend about half the class punching boxing bags with different moves and the other half of the class with weights and calisthenics.     Nice, clean gym with new equipment. Class.was great, the instructor was helpful with correcting form and pushing people to try harder. I liked how everyone wears a heartbeat monitor and can see how you're progressing on the screen.     This was a really good class overall, and the instructor was welcoming and upbeat. This is a strength-based class with virtually no cardio, and it is heavily focussed on upper body exercises on this day. I wish however that this class was longer than 45 minutes, because 10-15 minutes is lost from the explanation, warm up, and cool down so it makes for a very short workout.

    This class is no joke! This class is tough but manageable and the real deal. Feels like you have a personal trainer in a small group setting! You do a series of workout stations with a partner and do 4 sets of exercises for 30 seconds each. They might be squats, lunges, pulling a huge thing across the floor, etc. People in the class seemed to be regulars and they were totally welcoming and supportive. The owner even helped me out with a pair of (clean) socks because I was a hot mess and forgot to bring some. What a nice person and a great class!

    HIIT - ENERGY CIRCUIT - BURN am

    First time going to Strive and it's a small studio with 1 room. The class size was about 15 people and like many have mentioned, they do a decent length warm up (not too long in my opinion). We did a few minutes of skipping and then moved into rotating exercises, you will do a lot of squats/lunges/kettle bells/plank! There was a good emphasis on form and the instructor was helpful with corrections. It was a tough class but not too bad if you're in decent shape. The class ended with abs and there was no cool down. I got a good sweat and will definitely be back! Note there's no towel service or filtered water (bathroom tap) so bring your own if you need. Shared lockers to stash your things. Seemed like a lot of people were regulars with a friendly vibe.
