Great instructor, pace was awesome and loved the music. Music is loud so I just asked for some ear plugs and it was perfect :) I love their facilities. I used the sauna after and showered with their dry bar products! Definitely making this a regular spot

I would say Barrys are great classes for already athletic individuals who know about weight lifting form, not beginners. I didn’t see much form checking or corrections/modifications and it was definitely fast paced. As someone who exercises regularly, I really did enjoy the class and found it challenging!

Clearly cares about giving adjustments to everyone to make sure we're safe and doing the exercises effectively. Appreciate that she takes the time to model moves. A challenge after doing 3 beginner classes at this studio and many others elsewhere. First time I built up a moderate sweat doing reformer. Pinling is probably the best instructor here and has such a friendly demeanor :)

    Off-Peak Full Body

It was a very good, challenging class. My only complaint is that the instructor could definitely be a little more encouraging. There were a lot of instructions but not a ton of positivity haha. And with how difficult the class is, definitely could’ve used some love. Great workout overall though.

Great class! They were right outside the Rec Center doors but the stairs from the soccer field. It was just the right speed for me since I’m just getting back into the swing of things. Kelly has a mic and there’s a speaker so you can hear her verbal cues. You might want to bring some bug spray if bugs love you.

    Technical Boxing

So so great! Brandon went over the basics at the top of the class, so absolutely newbies to boxing (like me!) shouldn’t fear! The class incorporated aspects like cardio and core training on top of the boxing techniques. Our class size was only 5 people, which was great for the one-on-one periods with each person. Brandon was excellent at tailoring the individual sparring periods to each person’s level, and slowly raising the bar as he sees you improving. This was great because while I was definitely feeling the challenge of getting used to things, I could also see regular attendees feeling challenged as well! The environment was not intimidating at all, so I would absolutely recommend first-timers with interest to try it out!!

    The Grateful Yoga

Loved Jesses eclectic music, overall approach and encouragement in this class! And the space is beautiful and calming. The pace of this class is relatively fast, and the sequences are diverse (not repeating the same series all of class), so I would not recommend it for those newer to yoga or those looking for a gentler class.

MINT is such a fantastic, family-owned gym that has really gone above and beyond during the pandemic, especially, remaining closed and at limited capacity longer than required, and they have a dedicated four hours per day of gym time reserved for vaccinated people only. You have a choice to not wear a mask, but only if you upload your vaccination card. This definitely is a huge plus for me, because I feel a lot safer, knowing that anyone working out without their mask has been vaccinated and verified. I strongly encourage people to support this great place that has done so much for our community.

    WORK. REST. REPEAT.

This was a great class. Lauren (and a support team member) gave excellent form correction throughout class to make it feel like a private class in a group training setting. This was a durability day—80% efforts—so it was a grind but a good sweat. There are 5 stations that you complete with heavy weights and there are a few different levels of weight difficulty which makes you able to tailor your workout for your level. Will be back! Would like to be able to see which type of class I will be doing (M.A. or D.) before class if possible.

Cory is great. Lots of adjustments, which I appreciate. This is not a Vinyasa class, though. We did almost the entire Ashtanga series! I really liked it, though it was a little too fast moving. Not a ton of deep stretching. Studio was very warm.

I was super nervous I was gonna hate boxing & was going to be embarrassingly bad at it, but this class was awesome because the instructor (tall red hair didn't catch her name) and the regulars who attend this class were all super welcoming and extremely happy to help teach me & my friend. IN STUDIO (vax) || Cardio Barre

Great barre class at a yoga studio! Since it’s not a barre studio, there aren’t actual ballet barres to use (either use a wall or do stuff in the room center). But you use weights and balls. I’ve been twice and like that it’s different each time and seems like a good work out. I appreciate the instructor makes corrections too, when your form is off. #ClassPassInsider
