    Ive never felt as welcomed and part of a group as I did with this class. The other people were definitly regulars, of all different fitness levels and ages. Challenging but typical crossfit strength class. Apparently fridays are endurance crossfit classes. I would be hesitant to encourage others to try this class if they aren’t already familiar with proper form for all olympic lifts and other common crossfit exercises. That being said, everyone, including the super nice owner Dan, were more than willing to help, so if you have no problem speaking up, you’d probably be fine.

    Great class! My only issue was the employee talking before class to another employee about Boston Marathon and asked if her friend was running for charity or a "real" runner. FYI- I've qualified both ways, 8 times. and was ALWAYS a real runner. That's just an aside, and not a huge issue, but it rubbed me the wrong way.

    Second time here, and I’m even more impressed with the instructor and the amazing workout. Last time I took strength training, this time circuit training which included cardio intervals: sled, assault bike, med ball slams, manual treadmill (the kind that only moves by you pushing the belt). Had the same instructor, Brad, who’se truly the best trainer I’ve ever met. He is incredibly attentive, providing feedback about form, tips to get more out of each exercise, figuring out creative modifications (ex. I’m really short and bench was too high for me to do chest press without huge arch in back. He placed dumbbells on the ground for me to rest my feet on= issue solved). As a trainer and physical therapist, I really appreciate the care taken to prevent injury and Brad’s obvious wealth of knowledge.
