Great class and upbeat instructor! For a first timer, it’s definitely a fast paced class with no hand holding. What helped me was watching the intro videos in the initial email Rumble DC sends you to learn the different numbered punches. Great workout though, I felt powerful during and a successful soreness after.

This was a great workout! Amare was amazing, he made me feel so comfortable being the only first timer! The girl at the front desk was so sweet too. I would definitely recommend this to everyone!

Andria is truly the best coach! Not only does she know how to hype up a class, she motivates you which makes you want to push a little harder. She moves around the room a lot to help or make any adjustments if needed. She uses the mic well, it’s loud and clear!

Great energy and beats! We were taught combo, step, and defense moves. While it’s only my second class at Boombox, I enjoyed it so far and would love to see the focus on boxing rather than strength—or at least some balance.

I was tiredddd!! A good tired though lol. As a first timer, I definitely felt challenged, but supported by Donte which I appreciate. Front desk guy was welcoming too and gave me a tour. Would like more constructive criticism because I wasn’t really confident at first but know I would definitely learn/understand more with time. Booking again!!!

Fun and hard class. Lots of options to go at your own weight, but the pace (class was 30 seconds on/30 seconds off, 2 circuits of 5 stations) is set so you know what’s coming. And they have 0530 classes!

    Krav Maga Self Defense: Beginners

The instructor and assistant instructor gave very clear instructions and guidance. If you come by yourself, needless to say but be prepared to work in pairs and come in close contact with others. The studio is located in a basement and is very spacious. However, I felt the air was quite dry and irritating for the throat. I don't know if it had to do with the filter conditions in the vents. Check-in instructions are not super clear for first timers. There's a big screen with a digital check-in pad outside the entrance. Overall, this was a very good and sweat-inducing intro class to Krav Maga. It felt like a mix of boxing / self defense moves / body conditioning.
