How to prepare

Wear comfortable workout attire that is easy to move and sweat in. Shorts preferred. You will find sweat pants to be uncomfortable. If you have, bring the following, boxing gloves, 12 to 16 oz depending on your size and body weight. A mouthguard (most mouthguard must be molded in boiling water, we sell them here for 5 bucks). Handwraps are required for all classes except Clinch class. You may purchase your own or we sell them here for ten dollars. As additional gear, it is good to own a pair of shin guards, and a groin cup if needed.

Red Planet Muay Thai is located at 105 Ralph Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11221. We are 5 blocks from either the Gates or Jefferson Ave J train stop, 4 blocks from the C train at Ralph, or a ten minute walk from the Utica avenue A train stop.

The instructor, Mcsherry is very professional and welcoming. He introduced a couple of new stretching techniques that I havent come across with in any stretching classes that I have gone to. I find it really useful since I am getting back into kickboxing training more often. I am definitely going to this class again! GB
