About this class

Deep Relaxation Mediation (all levels & beginners welcome, no experience required) 60-75 minutes This meditation practice is designed to bring your Central Nervous System into “Rest, Digest and Restore” mode, where healing work at the cellular level can occur. Deep Relaxation Meditation is the perfect way to restore and reset your body and mind. The class begins with restorative yoga poses to help prepare the body to settle into a comfortable and relaxing position. A guided meditation follows the restorative yoga practice. Several props are used in both the restorative poses as well as the supine position you relax into for guided meditation in order to fully support the body and allow you to enjoy the practice without any strain or tension. Benefits include the release of muscular, emotional and mental tension. No experience necessary. All are welcome

How to get there

Quincy Yoga & Massage is located at 1245 Hancock St, Suite 33, 2nd Floor, Quincy, MA, 02169. Quincy Yoga & Massage is located 1 block from the Quincy Center T Stop on the MBTA Red line. The studio is on the second floor of 1245 Hancock St. The entrance to the second floor is located to the left of Sher-A-Punjab restaurant. Once inside the building take the stairs or elevator to the second floor. Suite 33 is on the backside of the building.
