Using the techniques of foam rolling, active isolated stretch and yin yoga, this class will aim to enhance mobility, reduce pain, increase flexibility and help restore balance to overused vs. underused muscles that are targeted in Figure 4 and all types of yoga. Level: Open

How to prepare

If you are just starting barre or have a pre-existing injury or problems that prevent full participation, please discuss the situation with the instructor before class. Personal belongings are not allowed in the studios. Cell phones may not be used in Pure Yoga studios. Sneakers are required for Figure 4 Fierce classes. Other Figure 4 classes require bare feet or grip socks.

How to get there

First time Pure Yoga attendees must arrive 15 minutes before class or they will not be permitted to participate. Other attendees must allow enough time to check-in before each class. Do not enter a class late or leave early unless you give the instructors prior notice. Instructors reserve the right to deny late entry to any individual who is not in the studio at the time class begins.

This class should not cost 9 credits - not a thorough stretch nor thorough use of trigger point foam roller. Just a brief semi-introduction about how to foam roll. Only select muscles included - important muscles like quads excluded. Not enough time spent (only a few seconds to a minute) to actually release any trigger points or sufficiently stretch/roll most of our body. Shouldnt cost more than 3 to 5 credits. (Would need to be at least 45 minutes to an hour.)

This stretch hurt too much and wasn't really that relaxing

Nina is great, but this class title is misleading! It should be more like foam roll.
