About this class

Yoga/Fitness - this class blends together powerful yoga poses mixed with core exercises using both traditional "workout moves" and Pilates style muscle activation. It will leave you feeling like you got a great workout in with a little stretch at the end! What to bring: -Yoga Mat + Towel (Limited rentals available) -Water bottle There are no late entry and please arrive 15 minutes prior to class.

How to prepare

Please bring a yoga mat and full length mat towel. All items are available to purchase and there are limited rentals at the studio as well!

How to get there

They are right beside Sina Pharmacy & Organic Juice Bar on Smithe (in between Richards and Seymour). There is plenty of metered street parking on Richards or 3 large parking lots on the same block. They are right in the middle of Granville or Yaletown skytrain stations. They do not have designated studio parking.

I go to the same Power yoga class with Melanie Tuesday mornings and it’s never the same but always challenging. I look forward to it every week. She’s great!

I’ve been going to this class once a week for almost two months now and can already notice improvements with movements I found very difficult in the beginning. Not to mention, I feel stronger too!

Melanie has a very calming way about her. She is excellent at guiding you through the practice and making you understand how to tweak your stance and pose so you can benefit from it the most. No worries if you’re a beginner or intermediate; she provides modifications. I highly recommend this class with Melanie

Great class and great studio. Was challenging but fun and a good workout. Only con is the mens locker room. The shower is tiny and a bit uncomfortable.

Danielle is great! Gives awesome modifications, helps correct your positioning and her voice is so soothing! Turns up the heat on the workout but then gives you a relaxing mindset to end with at shavasana

For being a studio that has all their workouts in an intensely heated room I find it very strange that they dont provide towels and you have to bring your own. Fairly good class, instructor wasnt too hands on and I felt like it was a lot of different forms of crunches, not super exciting.
