Cute, one room studio (plus a bathroom). You need some knowledge of yoga to take this class. The instructor gives explanations and helps correct but she moves pretty fast and uses the yogi terms so I dont think itd be ideal for a first or second class.

Barbara is a master instructor and understand the subtitles of yoga. She is so thoughtful and very blessed to be practicing under her

I sadly did not enjoy this class. To give context, I used to practice regularly but stopped about 7 months ago. I took this class to gently ease back in to practice because it was a basics class and described as being for beginners or for those who havent practiced for a while. I was shocked when in the class we were attempting crow and handstand prep - not ok. While we were told we can always go into childs pose if we want, I dont think this class was taught as described, in a beginner friendly way. I found this stressful. In addition to this, I prefer when an instructor checks in and asks if we are comfortable with being touched for modifying or correcting our poses. This was not the case here. Lastly, when in shavasana, it was loud outside and upstairs. This was distracting. Plus, there is no lobby and the students from the next class were trying to walk in as we were wrapping up. While possibly enjoyable for a regular yogi, I dont think Ill return here.

Fabulous as always. Challenging yet sets aside time to unwind properly.
