Combining cardio, strength training and restoration, The Barre Code has been called the most efficient and results driven fitness program. The Barre Code goes well beyond the barre, offering a variety of classes that allow clients to get cardiovascular conditioning, strengthening work and restoration all in one place. Instructors undergo intensive training to learn The Barre Code’s program’s methodology and approach to motivation. How to prepare

Socks are required for all classes. Bottled water and body wipes are available for sale. There are not showers at the studio, but the vanity area is stocked with items to freshen up.

How to get there

Located on Main Street, between 6th and 7th streets in downtown Cincinnati, next to the Richter and Phillips streetcar station. Parking suggestions: meters on Main or 7th Street.

I really like this studio and Michelle is great. You can tell she gets to know everyone in her classes. I liked the style of this class, with intervals of cardio and then rest strength periods. The only reason I gave it 4 stars: for the cardio portions you learn a routine of sorts and that part was a little confusing at tonights class, although I think that was a bit of an anomaly. Definitely a class Ill go back to.

Christi was great! If you havent done any barre-type workouts it will be painful. But I was assured by those who werent new needing to take a pause to shake their limbs! The studio is cute and easy to find street parking if taking a class after 6pm. Give it a try!

This studio offers the best barre classes Ive ever tried. You will definitely be feeling it during class and a couple days later! Allie is a savage! Maria and Liz are both great as well.
