About this studio

Combining cardio, strength training and restoration, The Barre Code has been called the most efficient and results driven fitness program. The Barre Code goes well beyond the barre, offering a variety of classes that allow clients to get cardiovascular conditioning, strengthening work and restoration all in one place. Instructors undergo intensive training to learn The Barre Code’s program’s methodology and approach to motivation. How to prepare

Socks are required for all classes. Bottled water and body wipes are available for sale. There are not showers at the studio, but the vanity area is stocked with items to freshen up.

How to get there

Located on Main Street, between 6th and 7th streets in downtown Cincinnati, next to the Richter and Phillips streetcar station. Parking suggestions: meters on Main or 7th Street.

Perfect morning routine to start my day

Really nice people and overall good class! Parking is tricky because it’s downtown so I ended up having to pay $10 for parking. Would have liked to been able to use heavier weights as well.

This class was incredible! Challenging but still a lot of fun. I will definitely go back!

This class was amazing! Emily was the best instructor. I have taken a lot of pure barre classes and wasn’t sure what to expect with barre code and it was slightly more challenging and my legs felt like jello when I left - in the best way! Awesome workout that would work for any level because you can make it harder or easier with modifications.
Total Body Conditioning with Liz
The new TBC format is growing on me, although I still way prefer the old one. However this particular class had TONS of squats/lunges and jumping - not great for those of us with bad knees. There weren’t modifications that really took the pressure off of the knees either. I love Liz, loved the soundtrack as usual. Wish a few more personal corrections were given for form, although she did a great job of correcting the class as a whole.

Super tough class with the new TBC style (still boot camp-esque with both strength and cardio) - I’m sure I’ll feel it tomorrow. Loved the tabata type cardio. Thanks Liz!

What is ClassPass?
