About this studio

Shift Cycle + Fitness is Denver's premier full-body rhythm based indoor cycling studio. Their signature ride is a 45-minute high intensity low impact cycle workout focusing on optimal movements to strengthen the core and tone the upper body; an uber energizing party that will guarantee to challenge you physically and strengthen you mentally. Clip-in cycling shoes are required- bring your own (LOOK Delta & SPD) or rent for $2 from the studio. New riders should arrive 15 minutes before class for bike setup and instruction. NEW UPDATE: You will be asked to pick a bike before you head into the bike room. Make sure to ask the front which bikes are available.

How to prepare

ALL riders must arrive 15 minutes before class for bike setup and directions. Late riders will not be allowed in the bike room. Please bring a water bottle. Clip-in cycling shoes are required- bring your own or rent for $2 from the studio.

They are located in North Stapleton off Central Park Blvd. and 51st St. Take CPB north and just past the Storage Space building take a right on 51st Street.

Love this studio so much!! The instructors are always super friendly and welcoming. The music and atmosphere is amazing, and I usually burn 400+ kcals in 45 minutes. :)

This class was a good workout. The only note Id like to make about this studio is that their resistance scales seem off, so we could be at a 10 and then continue to turn up the resistance, which is different than most studios.

Way too loud. Wore ear plugs and felt it was still loud. If the instructors dont have tinnitus, they will get it soon.

The instructor was encouraging poor form by advocating high rpm/cadence sprints. Everyone in class was bouncing around while standing and sitting. Higher resistance would be advisable. We basically stood up and pedaled and bounced for the entire class at 110 rpm. The arm workout was fun! It was also too loud and I personally don't appreciate only club music and light shows.
