I take a lot of barre classes and this was certainly one of the harder classes. Instructor was great but also will correct you.

The instructor was very nice, but did not do many corrections. I prefer when instructors are a bit more hands on so I can understand where the placement of my body should be to do it better. The music was blah. Very average class. I still think physique 57 is the best.

About this studio

Pure Yoga's Figure 4 Barre is the most challenging barre experience out there, crossing traditional dance choreography with strength and interval cardio for a class that keeps your pulse pounding while forging a lean, sculpted physique. 212 877 2025

How to prepare

If you are just starting barre or have a pre-existing injury or problems that prevent full participation, please discuss the situation with the instructor before class. Personal belongings are not allowed in the studios. Cell phones may not be used in Pure Yoga studios. Sneakers are required for Figure 4 Fierce classes. Other Figure 4 classes require bare feet or grip socks.

How to get there

First time Pure Yoga attendees must arrive 15 minutes before class or they will not be permitted to participate. Other attendees must allow enough time to check-in before each class. Do not enter a class late or leave early unless you give the instructors prior notice. Instructors reserve the right to deny late entry to any individual who is not in the studio at the time class begins.

What is ClassPass?
