About this studio

Balance Your Body then Train To Transform Their BRAND NEW studio in midtown (53rd btwn Park and Madison, 3rd floor in the 515 Madsion Ave bldg) offers small group fitness classes focusing on proper form and strengthening the foundation of your body. PE instructors are veterans of the fitness industry. Classes are carefully curated by founder Sara Dimmick. Pilates, yoga, movement, strength and conditioning, and pre/post natal fitness which are all post-rehab safe. Intimate studio setting within the private gym/wellness center (Weiss Wellness) makes sure you won't be lost in a sea of other students and get the attention you need. LIFT CLUB is small group personal training where you will work on core lifts: Squats, Deadlifts, Hip Thrusts, Pull Ups, Bench Press. Proper Warm Up taught.

How to prepare

3rd floor in the 515 Madison Ave Building (entrance on 53rd between Park/Madison) We have lockers with key pads, changing rooms, and private showers fully stocked. We provide free mats or you may bring your own.

Julia was really good at teaching how to do the exercises correctly and which muscles I should feel. I had no idea you could break down a squat in that much detail and really feel it! I’m going back to try her Lift Club class next week.

Loved this class! it was a good mix of strength work with plenty of one on one instruction.
Strength Basics with Julia
This ended up being one of those rare and miraculous classes where I had genuine revelations about my body. Julia is incredibly gifted and gave small corrections to my form and balance that provided lots of "aha, this is how a squat/lunge/plank should feel" moments. I was fortunate to be the only person in class, but I think even in a small group setting this class can be valuable to anyone. The workout left me feeling sore and also aligned, and I will definitely be back.

What is ClassPass?
