MINDSET brain gym promotes strong mental fitness and well-being through mindfulness meditation, visualization, and resiliency techniques. With accessible, intention-oriented drop-in classes and a multi-sensory experience, this is meditation like you've never experienced before. The MINDSET meditation room is a premium and immersive meditation experience with custom ergonomic seating, a signature blend of diffused essential oils, a captivating and calming light wall, and the soothing sounds of nature. MINDSET has been prominently featured by Toronto Life, The Globe & Mail, The National Post, The Toronto Star, Global News, ELLE magazine, Air Canada enRoute magazine, and many more.

How to prepare

Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to settle in and grab a complimentary beverage and make full usage of our comfy lounge areas and library. Late arrivals can not be accommodated. Dress code: Come as you are – from suits to sweats, this is a strictly mental workout. As you will be sitting cross-legged, shorter skirts and dresses are not recommended. MINDSET has no changing rooms. MINDSET provides complimentary lockers to store your phone and valuables. Lockers include a USB port to charge your phone (customer must provide charging cable).

How to get there

MINDSET can be found at the corner of Bay & Cumberland in Yorkville. Parking spaces in the Yorkville area are extremely limited, so please plan accordingly. Lots can be found at 74 Yorkville Ave, 162 Cumberland, 44 Bloor Street East (Hudson's Bay Centre), 44 Charles Street West (Manulife Centre), and 55 Avenue Road (Yorkville Village). If using the TTC, MINDSET is located directly across from the east exit of Bay station (Line 2), or is alternatively just a short walk from Bloor-Yonge station.

Interesting to try. Waiting room has a good atmosphere, with complimentary drinks. Remember to ask for the headset (if it’s a class that allows it) or they will not offer it. Comfortable seats. I would have preferred the intro to have clearer take-away points and the reception person to give a bit more direction, just in comparison to other studios I’ve been to.

Thanks for your feedback! Our Focus Boost & Recharge classes always include a complimentary Muse headset by default. For our other classes, which often use meditation styles that are not calibrated for Muse's algorithm and may not lead to accurate results, you do need to specially request them (however we are always happy to accommodate!). We'll be sure to relay your feedback for clearer direction to our front desk team.

An excellent experience and a beautiful space. Had a lovely time arriving early, lounging in extremely comfortable bean bag style chairs and drinking complimentary kombucha. Was also able to lounge around for a bit after the class. Will definitely be back, I feel amazing!

What is ClassPass?

ClassPass is a new kind of gym membership that grants you access to thousands of different classes at studios and gyms in your city and around the world.

Price of membership depends on your plan type and city, and you can book and explore classes ranging from yoga to barre to cycling to martial arts – the options are truly endless!

The number of classes you can take and the number of times you can visit a studio per month depends on which plan you're on. You can figure out which plan you're on by going to your Account Settings and looking under 'Your current plan.' With hundreds of studios in our ever-growing network, you're bound to always find a new class to enjoy. When your cycle renews, you can go back and revisit those favorites yet again!
