About this studio

At Form Body Lab, they believe in a holistic approach to fitness and rehabilitation. With Pilates at the core of what they do, the focus is to create strong and healthy bodies that can handle all the activities you love. Pilates supports your active lifestyle by rehabilitating existing injuries, preventing new ones, increasing body awareness, building strength and flexibility. Pilates is a low impact, highly focused, full-body workout that doesn’t just make you look good, it makes you feel good too. Mat Pilates focuses on core, back and glute strength. Mat Pilates classes are suitable for individuals in good health and who do not have major injuries. Less is more: They limit their Mat Pilates classes to 15 students so all clients receive hands on corrections and personal attention.

How to prepare

What to wear: Bare feet or socks. For men, t-shirts that are not too baggy and shorts. For women, tights and a sports bra with a fitted tank-top or t-shirt. Please bring a water bottle and mat with you. When you arrive at the studio please leave your shoes at the front, check-in with the front desk and then change into your workout gear if needed. Please wait in the waiting area until your instructor invites you into the studio. New students need to fill out liability forms before class so please arrive 15 minutes early for your first class.

How to get there

Form Body Lab is on third floor above Shoppers Drug Mart on the corner of Homer St. and Nelson St. in Yaletown. If you arrive after hours the front door may be locked. If so, please use the buzzer at the left of the front doors to get buzzed into the building. There is plenty of street parking available and the closest skytrain station is the Round House Station. Not as hard of a workout as I expected but I like that the instructor focused on form and it was relaxing.

I really felt Tiffany knew her stuff well, instructions were clear and on point - this was a great relaxing class!

I love the small class size. It was my first time doing a pilates only class so I got lost a few times in the quick instruction and terms, could’ve used a bit more clarification/attention from the instructor. But overall great class and I think I’ll be back!

Place is nice, instructor good but Advanced class was not much of a workout. Good if you want a slow, low effort class with good focus on form.

Very knowledgeable instructor focusing on proper alignment and activation of muscles. Studio environment has noise inflow from reception, adjacent studio, and upstairs, but aesthetically beautiful.

The class was great but quite distracting. The partitions between 2 rooms was weak and I could hear multiple instructors talking which made it hard to focus. At one point someone was banging the lockers and that was extremely unpleasant. The workout of good but it took away from the whole experience and I wasn’t left satisfied. Hoping the classes are made a little peaceful so anyone can focus while doing formations. Thanks ????

What is ClassPass?
