I liked Kevin’s technique: a focus on breath work with small movements with strong impact, choreography that gradually increases difficulty, while giving you options if you’d like to do more or less. It was my first time to use a Balanced Body machine which is like a typical reformer machine except it’s on the ground so it feels more stable and I got deeper stretches. It was also my first trime to try Infrared heat during pilates which is similar to Bikram yoga in a hot room so I definitely sweated it out more and my muscles felt warmer. Facilities are okay, they lend workout towels and there are showers. Met the studio owner who I recognized from YouTube workout videos from the pandemic, they really are passionate about fitness and it was great to finally try their gym. Would love to come back and try the other classes!
