About this studio

Take the community and energy of a spin class and replace the bikes with ellipticals, and you’ve basically got the idea for Elliptica Studios, the country’s first elliptical-based boutique fitness studio. Elliptica Studios’ main goal with their classes is fun, so each class is scored by a pumping soundtrack that keeps participants stepping to the beat. As they step, fitness-seekers are getting a low-impact, total-body cardio workout that burns up to 30% more calories than an average spin class.

How to prepare

What to wear- Regular sneakers, a tee or tank on top and form-fitting pants or shorts on the bottom. What to expect- Arrive early, as first-time clients will have to fill out a waiver for class. They want to show you around and get acquainted with their facility! Water is available at the studio for purchase, but you are welcome to bring your own.

#OMIshhh second shot at @elliptica_greenwich and my #legs are so confused along with a complete bowl of jello and I’m talking that goood kinda jello where you get those chewy bits ????. As a #runner of over two decades my #legs are used to the open road and not being constricted to a machine BUT if you want to challenge this awkward uncoordinated unicorn, throw her booty on an #ellipticalmachine , throw #weights in and blast music in the dark like I’m in my twenties all over again you can count me in. I’m always up for a challenge. Thank you Taylor for kicking my unbalanced a** ????????????

I love this class but lately, they’ve only been 35 minutes long. I’d like to have that full 45 minutes.

Decent workout and I will probably feel it tomorrow, but the class wasn’t as inspiring and motivating as I hoped. More frequent changes in the songs would have been nice - great music choices but I personally get bored of a song after too long when working out - and maybe some more pep from the instructor. It was a very small class so maybe that played into the atmosphere being less than exciting.
