About this studio

Surf inspired fitness! City Surf’s full-body 50-minute workouts are designed to tone your body, burn between 450 and 600 calories, strengthen your core, and improve your level of fitness by combining functional movements, and high intensity and stability training techniques. Their classes host 12 clients ensuring one-on-one attention from trainers, and feature stability surfboards designed to increase your core strength and dynamic balance. You will move between body weight, kettlebell, resistance band, and dumbbell exercises both on the board and on the floor. Each class emphasizes a specific goal - cardiorespiratory fitness, muscular endurance, and functional/stabilization core strength - with the intention of developing a strong, lean, and toned body.

How to prepare

New clients need to arrive 10 mins early for a board demonstration and will not be allowed to attend if more than 10 mins late. Grip socks are mandatory and can be purchased for $8 or rented for $2. Complimentary towels are available for you to use during class. Feel free to bring your own water or purchase a water for $2 when you check in at the studio. Recommended attire: yoga pants/shorts and a tank or t-shirt for women, and pants/shorts and a t-shirt for men. Yoga mats are not necessary for Buddha Board classes.

How to get there

(Location and Parking) The entrance to the studio is located on Lunsford Road, four doors down from Del Frisco’s Grille in between Quality Tailor and Legacy Cleaners. There is limited parking out front and a full parking garage behind the studio.

Might have been my favorite workout class! Targets specific body areas in a magical way. Lauren was a delight and provided instant feedback during this session.

Mediocre. No warm up or cool down stretch. Rushed demonstrations. Explicit music. Basically the same as using a bosu ball.

What is ClassPass?
