About this studio

Located at 6017 Post Rd. near the Dublin Rec. Center in Dublin, OH, our yoga classes range from gentle yoga for beginners to empowering flow, a more energetic practice, linking movement with breath. Pranayama breathing and meditation practices are offered as part of every class, providing multiple techniques for stress reduction. We also offer specialty classes such as Nia dance, Kundalini Yoga, Yoga Physical Therapy, Yoga Pilates, Hatha, YINyasa, Slow Flow, Gentle Curvy, Deep Release, Restorative, and more! We are also known for having a variety of amazing workshops, as well as, personal Reiki & massage therapy!

How to prepare

It is best to bring your own mat, but Balancing Owl Yoga provides mats if needed. All props are provided, as well as lavender scented eye pillows with clean pillow cases.

This is a great class for beginners, people looking for a super gentle and restorative class, or really anyone who wants to get down into the fundamentals of yoga! Colleen was very thorough and explained everything so well. I hope to take more classes with her in the future!

One of my favorite classes! Such a positive environment while still being a challenging workout.
Slow Flow (Level 2) with Pepita
This class wasn't bad, but the instructor was a bit more talkative than I prefer, especially during savasana. It's hard for me to let go and relax with someone talking through visualizations the whole time. Some people may enjoy that, but it just wasn't for me!

It's so hard to find gentle yoga classes that are truly gentle and restorative. This is one of them!!! Laurie is wonderful, supportive, and respectful of everyone's individual practice. I'm so glad I tried this class, I left feeling so relaxed and refreshed. I definitely plan to come back!

class was very laid back, and focused on learning how to do some of the more difficult postures at a beginners level. instructor was very kind!

I did not love this class, but have taken other classes at Balancing Owl that were great. The music was not what I'd consider relaxing and it was loud. I expected gentle poses, but we were in downward dog and chair pose a few times. I appreciate reminders to breathe, but felt the instruction to breathe every single pose throughout the entirety of the class was too much.

this class really loosened the tension built up from a work day. highly recommend if you want to unwind!

What is ClassPass?
