About this studio

A cultivated collaboration of power and restoration, Sthira and Sukha, steadiness and ease. Their vibrant yoga schedule offers class opportunities from Baptiste-inspired Power Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Yin, Prenatal and Family Yoga. With more than 70 classes per week and a community of experienced instructors, Balanced Yoga is accessible for students of all levels.

How to prepare

It doesn't matter where you bought your yoga clothes or how much they cost. All that matters is that you feel comfortable. They recommend athletic pants/shorts and an athletic-fitting top. If you’re taking a hot class, sweat-wicking fabrics are advised. Please bring water, a towel and a mat. Yoga mats are available to rent for $3 and Manduka hand towels can be rented for $2. You're encouraged to bring a refillable water bottle, as the lobby offers a complimentary filtered water station, or Boxed water is available for purchase.

How to get there

Because Balanced doesn't have a dedicated parking lot, they advise that you leave time to find a spot for your car. There is two-hour street parking on North High Street as well as surrounding side streets. Out of respect for neighbors, please leave at least 5 feet of space for them to safely access their driveways. AutoZone (catty corner from studio) has graciously allowed use of their side lot and JiffyLube allows parking only after 6PM.
