    Y I N ( H E A T E D )

I could have done this for hours, one hour wasn’t long enough! Kaleena gave clear instructions and her voice is soothing. The gentleman playing the electric mini guitar was a very nice touch! I usually don’t like hot yoga but it’s needed for the deep stretching and ball rolling.

    Beginners Lifting

Great instructor with well-paced and well-demonstrated explanations. Provided suggestions on how to reduce or increase difficulty and how to do things better very seamlessly. I thought that this would be a class that teaches you how to use machines but this is a class that teaches you about using free weights and about body weight exercises.

    Power Flow

One of the most serene and beautiful studios I’ve been to. The teacher was a sub but her music taste was also on point! Definitely a more relaxing class.

    Pilates Springboard

I love Stevens energy, music and variety of exercises he has under his belt. Today we used the dowel bar which is now in the running for my favorite spring board tool. I think the giant foam roller we used last week is currently in the lead but the dowel bar is currently the runner up.

    Chair Yoga

First time taking chair yoga and it was a pleasant experience. I often work on my feet all day and am dealing with some injuries so it was nice to learn some new ways to stretch and move through different poses using a chair. The only thing missing for me was music, I deal with constant brain chatter and music is a good way for me to tame that beast. Other then that Hanna was a wonderful instructor and had a gentle sounding voice.
