see all reviewsI love this class! Kind of a mix of barre, Pilates, and yoga with hand weights mixed in. It’s challenging but not impossible and Karen is so encouraging. The studio is lovely, and sunny and clean and the classes are small.

see all reviewsSuch a hidden gem on the upper east side. My only regret is I didn’t discover this class sooner!!! Our neighborhood is lacking good yoga across the board and most of the studios are hot or heated, which is nice sometimes but not exclusively. I looooove this class!

see all reviewsOur class of 3 - led by Arantza - was a lovely introduction to basic dance steps in foxtrot, tango, and waltz. Another teacher stepped in when we had to practice, so we rotated partners and practiced solo as well: both modes were very useful in perfecting the steps. Arantza also shared helpful pointers to make the steps more elegant: crucial for the beginner - like me - who often needs pointers to dance gracefully while keeping track of the steps themselves. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend the class to any beginner exploring western dance forms. They also have more focused classes on bachata, salsa, waltz etc that might be of interest to the practiced or returning dancer.
